Hilton Garden Inn Chesapeake/Greenbrier

I had a small issue with my room and Ray the maintenance guy made sure I was good to go!

Under some renovations, but they have ac, clean rooms, a great staff, and really good cooks that give a lift to hotel food. Location is ideal with anything a simple five minute drive away.

Stayed here a few nights ago and it was a great experience. I looked at the reviews and still decided to judge the place by its own colors. Great food and service even though there are a few renovations going on. I was greeted by Bryant, the night auditor more than anyone because of my hours, and it was a very genuine feel to it. He saw me around 11:30ish and saw me at 6:45 heading out and every time it was the same pleasurable, professional, and personable encounter. I value that in my stays no matter where I am. If I am back here in the future, I will definitely stay in this hotel again, no matter what people are saying.

Quick stop overnight. We ended up right next to the elevators, not a fan of them being right outside our doors. The pillows were so comfy, as well as the bed. Great nights sleep. Our room was very clean. Everything was in working order. As we checked in on Saturday night a woman and her husband were walking with us into the hotel via sidewalk. She tripped right in front of us and landed hard. The sidewalk was uneven. The hotel told me they were letting the GM know and that they'd have it fixed. Had she been any older, she would've broken a hip. It was awful. The employee on duty offered her an ice pack for her hand. My son helped her up the best he could. I pray she's okay. The property definitely needs to be looked over for safety issues like that one. Also some pathway lighting outside would be better too.

Housekeeping did an amazing job with cleaning the rooms and the entrance of the hotel. They were very accommodating and when I needed anything they made sure I had what I need as soon as possible.

We were delayed in Chesapeake for Christmas. This Hilton went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing Christmas. The kids were a little sad. We didn't know if Santa would be able to turn around to drop off gifts!! Thankfully EVERY member of this hotel made our stay magical!! I don't think Christmas would have been that awesome if wasn't for these amazing crew members! The hotel was undergoing renovations, the staff made sure we were in a room away from the noise and placed us in an upgraded room. Our stay was truly a Christmas miracle. Thank you Hilton for making our stay so peaceful and full of cheer! I hope to visit again!!

Newly remodeled lobby and restaurant area is very nice. Order from menu breakfasts are excellent and good value. The rooms...well, they are next to be remodeled. The bed was comfortable. The sheets clean. The AC delightfully functional and quiet. The bathroom was fine and clean. New towels. But everything is mostly tired. Chair threadbare. No lamp on desk. The lamps were rusty. Once they update it'd be 5 stars all around. Staff was AWESOME! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The location of was absolutely perfect. It was next to a delicious restaurant. The beach and boardwalk access was top tier. The breakfast was pretty good. Marvelous as well.
